Jose Arguelles "Time and the Technosphere" 2004

    Post  B.B.Baghor on Fri May 23, 2014 7:56 pm

    Jose Arguelles 1939-2011

Argüelles viewed his role as a visionary, saying "My job as a visionary is to envision the best possible outcome for humanity."[5] He dedicated much of his life to promoting an alternative calendar based on a cycle of 13 months of 28 days each, which he believed would help bring about world peace. He coined the slogan "Time is Art" for the Planetary Art Network (PAN) slogan, suggesting that time is a vehicle for our creative experience.

In Time and the Technosphere (2002), Argüelles devises and promotes a notion that he calls the "Law of Time", in part framed by his interpretations of how Maya calendrical mathematics functioned. In this notional framework Argüelles claims to have identified a "fundamental law" involving two timing frequencies: one he calls "mechanised time" with a "12:60 frequency", and the other "natural [time] codified by the Maya [that is] understood to be the frequency 13:20".[10] To Argüelles, "the irregular 12-month [Gregorian] calendar and artificial, mechanised 60-minute hour" is a construct that artificially regulates human affairs, and is out-of-step with the natural "synchronic order". He proposes the universal abandonment of the Gregorian calendar and its replacement with a thirteen moon, 28 day calendar, in order to "get the human race back on course" by the adoption of this calendar of perfect harmony so the human race could straighten its mind out again."[11]

Celebation Day out of Time letting go of the past year burden

    Post  B.B.Baghor on Sat Jul 25, 2015 2:43 am

THE DAY OUT OF TIME JULY 25 2015

    Kin 113, Red Solar Skywalker

I Pulse in order to Explore
    Realizing wakefulness
I seal the output of space
With the solar tone of intention
I am guided by the power of universal water
I am a Galactic Activation Portal

Personalities born on a Solar Skywalker day:
    Jimi Hendrix (American musician/guitar prodigy)
    Ellen Burstyn (American film actress)
Johnny Carson (Former American talk show host)
    Jack Nicklaus (American golfer)
Harumi Kurihara (Japanese celebrity chef/cookbook author)
    Kate Bush (English singer/songwriter)
Matt Damon (American film actor/screenplay writer)

Here's the 2-dimensional Tzolkin cycle of 260 Kin, with the Solar Seal of today in the 113th Kin-position, in the row just left of
the center vertical row. You will notice it's in a row of black squares, called Galactic Portals. Their meaning is explained on
the LawofTime site, the title says it all, if you will. In my experience the knowledge of Mayan timecounting and the "translation"
presented here, mainly through Arguelles vibrations and at present day through his spouse Stephanie, is one of many ways to
    experience it, if studied.

During the years of working with Dreamspell tools of others and designing my own, like the Tzolkintoy perpetual calender and
the 13 Tones illustrations, I found that going through my daily life affairs and following the Tzolkin-cycle each day, reading
the Solar Seal and tone of the day, both reveal information that is as personal as unique. Body-sense and daily life in the 3D
world can't be excluded, unless I choose to experience this knowledge on the level of the mind only. As an artist I do love the
saying "Time is Art". For the creative way of learning to understand concepts of the Mayan culture,  of so long ago, in a very
different part of the world, is the best road to follow, I find. Maybe that's true for much more than this subject.

With a background of church-education, born as a minister's daugther, I've learned that no belief system, idea and concept
can be forced upon living beings, only shared and acted upon by the owner who holds them. Later in my life I have found the
humor, present in my style of communicating, that it's a life-long teaching to me to let go of convincing others, by my inner
program of making my own statements as final and absolute for others as they are for me. (Mother Superior) I've found this
tendency is a shadow-aspect of a quality in me that knows very well how to just be in the joy for life, very simple.
My name B.B.B. reminds me of that all the time  Cheerful

I can say now that no fixed position holds truth, regarding absoluteness, myself and others find it for ourselves if wished for.
Defending fixed ideas and views, showing them off to others in church and family-life, for example by reading the Bible loud,
has been a survival instinct in my ancestors and myself, until I learned to face that attitude within, through painful experiences.
Now I'm very happy to experience that learning and finding new insights never ends. There's no deadline... is there?  Lmfao
Even not knowing isn't an issue anymore. Holding a question through time often presents an unexpected point of view.
I know that I'm quickly alerted and very curious, to delve into things for better understanding, an explorer and wanderer,
also for a better understanding of other people's motives and intentions. They're part of the frame around their existence.

There's a Dutch saying that goes like this:

"All that you say you are yourself"

Doesn't that sound similar to this?

IN L'AKECH                                Enjoy a lovely day  sunny

Here's an interesting link on CERN and the relationship with the god Cernunnos. Whatever truth you find in it, it's worth reading I think.

The noosphere: planet Earth's mental sheathe

    Post  B.B.Baghor on Sat Sep 05, 2015 5:11 pm

These visions below resonate hugely with my point of view on the role of internet as a virtual world.
The text in large size is highly significant, for I see the cyberspace populated, possibly soon, by "aliens"
to planet Earth, in human bodies, due to its very nature and their unconscious use of it. This description
is very clear and spot on, I couldn't have said it better, although I've said a lot about it, as some of you
may know. This is part of a text I found in the link below:

(quote) Teilhard de Chardin's description of the noosphere would seem to be more spiritual than that of Le Roy,
underlining a 'psycho-biological' dimension linking mind and spirituality
to the physical nature of living
    systems.
In his most famous and widely discussed work
"The Phenomenon of Man" Teilhard de Chardin (1959: 202)

defined the noosphere as 'a new layer, the "thinking layer",
which since its germination at the end of the  Tertiary era,
has spread over and above the world of plants and animals.
    In other words, outside and
above the biosphere there is the noosphere.'

He draws attention to the idea of an emerging globally reflexive consciousness - creating a 'plurality of
individual reflections grouping themselves together and reinforcing one another in the act of a single
unanimous reflection'  (ibid.: 277). The human phenomenon is seen as a manifestation of the universe
unfolding on itself and becoming aware of its own existence - akin to a baby seeing itself in the mirror
for the first time. He continues as follows:

"Unless we give up all attempts to restore man to his place in the general history of Earth as a whole
without damaging him or disorganizing it, we must place him above it, without, however, uprooting him
from it. And this amounts to imagining, in one way or another, above the animal biosphere a human
sphere, the sphere of reflexivity, of conscious invention, of the conscious unity of souls (the noosphere
if you will) and to conceiving, at the origin of this new entity, a phenomenon
    of special transformation

    affecting pre-existent life: hominization ....
Nothing can be compared with the coming of reflective

consciousness except the appearance of consciousness itself".
(Teilhard de Chardin 1966: 63)" (end of quote)

These two texts below are present in the Law of Time website, created to present the work and vision of Jose Arguelles:

(quote) "The damage emanating from human depletion of resources and consequent emission of greenhouse gases would
not have come about if the human thinking layer - as the noosphere - had not first engineered the concepts of machine
technology, and the fossil fuel consumption or atomic energy required to operate this vast complex, the technosphere.
We must understand that the distinguishing feature of the human element in the biosphere is the capacity to simultane-
ously evolve and then participate in the thinking layer of the planet, the noosphere.

Without understanding the meaning and evolutionary purpose of the noosphere as the self-reflective mind or mental
layer of the planet, we will not truly comprehend the kinds of solutions necessary to re-establish a viable future for
the planet. As P. R. Masani points out, thus far, " the ecological movement falls short, the common stumbling back
being the neglect of the noosphere." This is very much to the point.

Just as most humans are barely conscious of being a functioning - or malfunctioning - member of the biosphere,
even fewer are aware of participating in a collective mental field called the noosphere.
    This noosphere is the mental
field that we take for granted as the psychological environment common to all.
    This unconsciously enclosing mental
environment is charged with assumptions, and,
depending upon what part of the world you might be in,
    it may be
    filled with glaring contradictions.
The mental assumptions of a farmer in Iowa may be very different from those of
     a
farmer in the interior provinces of China, much less of one in Iran.
Yet, no matter where we are, we generally assume

that what we assume every one else assumes, and that if someone assumes differently,
it is they who are wrong and
    not we.
This is the unconsciousness of the noosphere".

    and further on:

(quote)"The present cybersphere is essentially what Marshall McLuhan envisioned in the 1960s as "the global village."
As McLuhan wrote in the introduction to his most famous text "Understanding media" (1964)

"Today after more than a century of electric technology, we have extended our electronic nervous system itself
in a global embrace, abolishing both space and time as far as our planet is concerned.
Rapidly we approach the final phase of the extensions of man
    - the technological simulation of consciousness ..."
Some thirty years ahead of his time, McLuhan's global village is equally a definition of the cybersphere
    - "the technological simulation of consciousness."

Even before McLuhan, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, who along with Vernadsky and Jules LeRoy
coined the word, noosphere, also perceived that the next evolutionary stage would be intermediated
by a global electronic communication network.

In the process of attaining the mystical trans-material state of the noosphere,
Teilhard de Chardin clearly foresaw the phase of the cybersphere and the global village
as the gestation of the mystical body of Christ,
the culmination or Omega Point of human evolution.
In his vision, Teilhard saw the entire planet "dotted with luminous points,
each one of those stars corresponding to some laboratory or some apparatus around which the human,
through its charge of energy and its union,
was here and now being transformed into some neo-human 'isotope'
until the hitherto dark face of the planet had begun to sparkle with ultra-humanity
... stirring into motion: not with the monotonous motion of a firmament,
but with the creative movement of an involutive galaxy."
(Teilhard de Chardin, The Activation of Energy, pp. 352-53)

The Internet performs this function, the creation of a global village,
where around some apparatus - the PC or cell phone - the human is trans-forming itself
into a neo-human (the Ethnosphere) or more appropriately, homo noosphericus.
The cybersphere produced by the Internet, cell phone, and fax is a skeletal noosphere,
a wildly random self-organizing slice of human consciousness talking to itself
in an anarchic diversity of voices. But for evolution to occur in consciousness on a scale
equal to the breadth of the planet, it requires far more intentionality than the
"laissez faire" gigaplex of the Internet.

Psychotechnical unification of a sort has been achieved that abolishes all national boundaries,
but a yet higher state of mind must be attained.
After all, the Internet is only a tool,
and while it deploys a randomly ideated noosphere
in the accumulation of virtually every bit of knowledge there ever was,
it does not really, in and of itself, define the future, the noosphere.

Of necessity, as the evolved condition of the consciousness of the whole of life itself
(and not just the historical human's encyclopedic regurgitation of knowledge),
the noosphere is above and beyond any tool. The noosphere is truly of the mind,
the invisible mental or intelligence sheathe of the planet as a whole celestial body.
As such, the noosphere is wholly of the mind and of a dimension of mind that we
have scarcely been able to think about or grasp (end of quote).

    TIME IS ART MOVIE
    ~ 11/11, GLOBALLY SYNCHRONIZED PREMIERE ~
    Ashland, Oregon

Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM (PST)

Last Saturday, in Glastonbury, while waiting for the bus, Graham Hancock came walking by with his companions.
I walked towards him and asked "Are you Graham Hancock?" and immediately felt shy, for having done that.
I said "I presume, quite a lot of people know you and spot you when meeting in the street. Sorry, if I disturbed
you in an unwelcome way" Graham smiled and held out his hand "Thank you for recognizing me and saying "Hello"
he said. Today, on my Galactic Mayan birthday Lamat 13, the Cosmic Star Kin 208, I've found Graham again in
the videos presented here. Hmmm, synchro-nicety Cheerful
